Updating my Office2003 Admin Install Point

Hi, I've updated my Install Point with SP1, and I've moved on to the current
updates since SP1. This is what I've patched thus far:

kb870774 - alternative user input
kb885828 - update for office 2003
kb887979 - security update word 2003
kb887980 - update for office 2003
kb894384 - outlook 2003 junk email filter (most recent)

(1) Do I need to patch all of the junk email filters, or just the most
current one?

(2) Do I need to patch all updates? There's like 6 that have to do with the
"french language", which I don't need, right?

(3) Can you screw up your Install point by patching an update that doesn't
apply to your setup? (i.e. - patching the "Outlook 2003 with Business
Contact Manager SP1", when you don't have BCM as part of your install...)

(4) In follow up to (3), Will it reject a patch that doesn't apply, install
but do no harm, or screw up your Install Point?
