Default error messages when installing office2007

I am trying to install officehome and student 2007. I get error message
immediately saying The specified program requires a newer version of windows.
I have windows xp home version 2002

Have you upgraded to at least SP 2 in XP? That is a requirement. If you
only have the original version or SP 1 or 1a installed you need to upgrade
to SP2 or SP 3.

If you are at SP2 or higher do you have a trial version on the system? If
so uninstall it first and reboot the computer.
