Default Task Pad will not show today's tasks and won't hold settings

When I am in daily calendar mode there is plenty of room
for today's tasks to show from my general list of all
tasks. I can't find a way to make the settings on the
View Pad stick so that every day I see only those tasks
that I have selected for doing that specific day. Anyone
else have this problem or know of a way to make this
work? AFter spending time assigning the tasks for today,
it would be helpful to just have them listed there for me
to work off rather than having to go back into the Task
folder and checking each category to find the ones for
that day. Thank you. CLiff

What version of Outlook are you using.

If Outlook 2003 open the calendar and click on View - Task Pad View.
You can select to show all tasks, tasks for that day or task based on date
selected.
