Hi,
I was trying to open a MS Document template for time and billing, contact management, etc.
If you go to startnew office documentdatabases there is a group of templates (MS Office XP Pro). My winamp program decided these were sound files so I can't figure out what program reads them. Can anyone help? The three letter extension is .mdz Just look at yours and see what program is listed under type and this will tell me. Anyone with MS Office Pro can look for me. Email answer to and I'll make the changed in my file types and the program that opens them. . . Thanks

Using WinXP Home, MDZ (Microsoft Access Database Wizard Template) files
are opened with Microsoft Access.

Hi,

Its a Microsoft Access Wizard Template file. Use Microsoft Access to open
the same.

The reason why your winamp recognized it as Sound files is:
There is another variety of .MDZ files, which are Module Description files
(the DZ is a short form of DIZ, which is in turn a short form of
Description). The .MDZ format can, however, contain much more information
than normal Module/Sound files, which normally only contain the song's
title and sometimes a ``song message'', which can be freely entered by the
author.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Subbu
