Default Just upgraded to Office 2003 Pro and lost speedbar

Folks,

I'm requesting help that is probably very simple.

I just upgraded from Office 2000 Pro to Office 2003 Pro
and have lost the speedbar (or whatever it is correctly
called) that was on the top righthand corner of my PC
screen. The speedbar in question is the one that had
very small icons of my Office programs that were used as
quick access to the programs.

Thanks and please respond to the email listed above
), because I'm not sure if I'll find
the newsgroup that I posted this in ever again. I had
hoped to figure this one out myself, but no luck.

Best regards,
John

Ah, another NSF! Doesn't *ANYONE* bother to use Google anymore?!

So your browser doesn't have a favourites menu then? The only reason you
want emails is laziness. You post here, you come back here. Oh, and by the
way, you'll get plenty of email - you're probably on the list of every
spammer in existence already.

I had hoped to figure this one out myself, but no luck.

So you /have/ been in the world's deepest cave system for the past 5 years
and eight months then?

There is no Shortcut Bar for Office 2003. You can install the office SCB
from a older version of Office or to create a Shortcut Tool Bar for Office
2003 using the Windows task Bar. Create a folder with shortcuts for all
office programs. Right Click On the Task Bar select Toolbars New Toolbar
and Navigate to the folder containing your Office shortcuts and select it,
click OK. However if you drag the toolbar off the Task Bar and then later
close after using the toolbar you will need to recreate it to use again.

There are some other alternatives as well if you search the news group you
will find some of the other alternatives that are offered. I personally like
perfect menu for it's functionality
