Publisher Booklets not PDF friendly?
I have a booklet that I need to convert to a PDF file. My problem has
been that when the booklet is in 2-page view, if I save it as a PDF, half of the right side page is lost when I convert it. So, when I turn off 2-page view, it works fine. The one drawback is that I lost the "booklet" format because each page is saved separately in the PDF. How can I save my booklet in PDF without losing the formatting of the booklet? Thanks in advance! |

Are you using the PDFMaker add-in that comes with Acrobat 7? -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher http://ed.mvps.org/ |

Hi Ed!
Yes... I am. Is there another way which will allow me to use the booklet feature? Thanks! Ed Bennett wrote: T.J. T.J. Warner was very recently heard to
utter: Yes... I am. Is there another way which will allow me to use the booklet feature? It sounds like the former option isn't working due to some kind of bug with PDFMaker. I would use the latter option (single pages in the PDF file) and then use the Continuous - Facing view option in Adobe Reader to make it look like a booklet again. That way it's also easier to read if you've zoomed in, as you can scroll through rather than having to scroll left and right all the time. -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher http://ed.mvps.org/ |
