Default where is the addin section of the toolbar

I have word 2007 and windows vista.

I have an com addin that is active. I can tell this from the word options
section.

However I cant find it on the toolbar to use it.

Can anyone direct me on how to make it appear on the toolbar?

Add-ins are on the Developer tab, which is not displayed by default. Click
on the Office button and choose Word Options. Somewhere in there is an
option to display the Developer tab.

Right-click on the toolbar and see if it is listed in the available toolbars.

Thanks for the help Suzanne

I just worked it out myself.
Under the word options I removed the com addin. Closed word
I then registered the dll for the com addin again restarted word.
The addin tab now appeared beside the developer tab on the toolbar.

tested the addin and it worked.

My installation program doesnt seem to install the com addin correctly with
2007.
It works for 2000, XP and 2003.
Thanks again

Glad you got it sorted. I don't have Word 2007 installed yet, so I'm flying
blind in trying to offer solutions.
