People are not receiving my emails
Hello,
This started around the beginning of May. I am receiving all of my emails, but apparently business associates and friends are not receiving my emails. I have contacted my ISP and using their website as a base (for trying out) emails that I send to my friends etc...they are receiving them. Yet when I send an email from Outlook Express, no one is receiving it. I have on my system Norton Anti Virus which scans incoming and outgoing email, but I have this on my system since Feb. I do not have a firewall. My system is clean regarding all worms and Trojans and virus's. I do not know what to do... I am getting very desperate. Thanks in advance Gay Carefoot -- |

Click on Tools/Accounts and make sure your SMTP setting is correct for

And turn off your e-mail scanning. It can cause problems and the

According to my ISP (sympatico) my setting is correct in the SMTP I used to have this problem with NAV 2000, and 2001, and was constantly changing it....I now have on Norton Antivirus 2004. I have had this program version on since February so why all of a sudden (since the beginning of May) should this occur. I know that my ISP did some changes on their email programs, because of the Sasser worm and my guru thought that I had been blacklisted for some reason, but when I phoned them they told me my account was active. I also know that I am totally free of any virus, Trojan, or worms. I am trying what you have told me, just in case and I will try out sending email to a friend to see if it will work.
