Plotting Pos / Neg #'s

I have a series of graphs that would be similiar to below:

Bar 1 plot: 0 to 6,000
Bar 2 plot: 4,000 to 6,000 (to show drop of 2k)
bar 3 plot: 4,000 to 5,000 (to show gain of 1k)

Bar 4: would like to show -1,000 to 5,000 (to show drop
of 6k)
I can plot 0 to 5k or 0 to -1, but can not get it to post
a bar showing a postive & negative. (-1 to 5

I would appreciate any ideas.

I think I know what you are talking about. It's like a
stock chart with high and low values, but in bar format. I
tried your scenario with a stacked bar chart, which i then
modified, choosing "no fill & no border" and then dragged
some of the labels around. Looks professional. try it...
