Default Installed Outlook Connector - Outlook has completely disappeared

A few days ago I installed the new Outlook Connector. Upon returning to this
computer, Outlook seems to have vanished. No shortcut responds... Has
anyone else had this problem????

They do not respond in the sense that Outlook doesn't start or that it opens
a dialog which is searching for outlook.exe?
Assuming the first, can you open Outlook is Safe Mode?
Start- Run; outlook.exe /safe
