Which message am I reading? (OL 2007)
OL 2007 on a Vista machine. When I click into the preview pane there is
nothing in the message list pane that indicates which message I am. The boss is asking me several times a week if there is anything that can be done to fix the problem which was introduced in 2007. Can anybody help? |

Yes - doesn't help.
In playing around with the color options for windows itself I found that if I change to one of the high contrast color schemes then whatever the inactive window border is set to is the color used to highlight the currently active message, but this does not work in any other windows vista color scheme. I use the standard vista scheme and blue office scheme and selected messages
are blue (most of the time focus stays on outlook and the message list, so I can see it quite well) and it’s a light gray when its not in focus. Depending on the angle of the laptop screen or monitor, the gray can appear very dark or very light. So, if its very light, try adjusting tipping the top of the screen back a tiny bit. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. Is it possible to make that a different color? Eyesight is an issue and
even tipping the screeen back (LCD) doesn't help enough. "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote in message ...
