Closing permanently "Getting Started"
Whenever I open MS Word (2003) at the right side of the window appears an annoying "Getting Started" + help subwindow.
I have always to close it explicitely. How do I get permanently get rid of this automatic help panel? Thomas |

Locate the following registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\C ommon\General And then delete DoNotDismissFileNewTaskPane -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] www.howto-outlook.com Tips of the month: -What do the Outlook Icons Mean? -Create an Office 2003 CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 1 ----- "Thomas McGregor" wrote in message ...
