Default Incorrect page numbers

I keep having this problem. Example: I have a 10 page document, plus the
cover page plus a 2 page table of contents. In the actual document (header
and footer) I only want the page numbers of the actual document, not
including the cover page and the TOC. But each time I try to use "page x of
y" it will give the the correct value for "X" but not for "y". In other
words, I want it to say Page 1 of 10, not 1 of 13. Andy because the
document is always being revised, I can't put "10" in manually - my boss
wants it to automatically update when any changes are made to the document.
Any help, suggestions, comments? Thanks

Default Incorrect page numbers

What you need to do is count the pages in the section instead of the entire
document so you need to use the {SectionPages} field instead of the
{NumPages} field.

Delete the total page number field, press Ctrl+F9, type SectionPages between
the braces, and then press F9 to update the field.

Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for
