Default once mo read receipts

I posted about this before and thought I had it sorted...

For read receipts to work, as well as the receipt having to be processed from your Inbox, does the original message have to be in the Sent folder?

Thanks very much

Steve

Yes. If the original message requesting the receipt is not in Sent Items,
Outlook won't know where to post the tracking information from incoming
receipts.
