Default Incorrect product key

Hi, i have recently brought a new laptop with Microsoft home and student
2007. it atomatically installed everything. when i tried to enter my product
key it came up that the product key is incorrect and to re-type it. I have
re-typed and it is still correct. I have no idea what to do and my trial is
running out.

Thanks xx

From where did you obtain the product key?

If you are using a product key that is on the computer, it is likely the
key for Windows the operating system. The key for Office will be a
different key and should be in your paper work or on the case the disk came
in.

You may need to contact who you paid for the office program and find out
where the key is located. Make sure you actually have more than just a
trial copy of the program that is often packaged with new computers.

If its a trial version, then it will expire at some time, you then have to
buy a retail version.
The key on the base of your Laptop is for Win
