Default incorrect suggestions in the grammar tool

I have noticed incorrect grammar suggestions more than once (the green
underline). "It's" and "its" is a problem. "Your" and "You're" have also
been flagged incorrectly. Has anyone else noticed this?

Works fine for me here. Are you sure you are using the correct usage?

Millie, Here's an example of an "it's" that was flagged as incorrect: "I
hope it’s smooth sailing from here on out." The tool said it should be "its"
instead. Any thoughts on it?

Your message encoding prevents the display of your example. Perhaps you
need to change it?

Word doesn't really "read" a sentence. It's (not its) a machine.

No grammar checker can ever do a perfect job. In fact, no grammar checker
can do better than a mediocre job. If your education was good enough to
make you sure of your use of "its" and "it's", you're probably better off
without one. Most of the "rules" they try to enforce are more matters of
opinion or matters of style anyway.

The spelling checker is very helpful, though not perfect, but the
grammar checker is a waste of time, as far as I'm concerned. Just keep
a decent grammar book by your computer in case you run into trouble. I
find myself consulting Patricia T. O'Conner's "Woe Is I" once or twice
a week. It's not the most comprehensive grammar book around, but it's
the easiest to understand.
