Adding a series to an existing Stacked Bar Chart
Hi there,
I am trying to add additional series to a stacked bar chart with a secondary y-axis; however, each time that I add the new series information, the new (added) series appears behind the old series and therefore is not displayed properly on the chart. For example: % Correct % Incorrect # of Days Agency A 40% 60% 3 Agency B 30% 70% 4 Agency C 20% 80% 5 When I chart this information, I choose the first 2 columns for the data in the stacked bar chart and then when I try to add the '# of days' column as another series, it does appear on the chart; however, it is in behind the stacked bars and is not visible. Any help is appreciated, thanks... Peter |

Peter -
You could add the # Days series as a line chart type instead (right click the series after adding it, choose Chart Type from the pop up menu, then select one of the Line types). Or you could add blank series to prevent this overlapping, as described on this web page: http://www.geocities.com/jonpeltier/....html#Col2Axes - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP http://www.geocities.com/jonpeltier/Excel/index.html _______ Peter C wrote: Hi there, I am trying to add additional series to a stacked bar chart with a secondary y-axis; however, each time that I add the new series information, the new (added) series appears behind the old series and therefore is not displayed properly on the chart.
