Mary, I have done everyone of the things that are suggested in this article

Do you have any other suggestions?

Do you have your product code number? If you decide to use the following utility
you will be asked for the key code. If you are unsure run Belarc first.

Default Office 2003 Set Up Error 1402......

Mary, yes I do have the original Office 2003 Pro disc which has the product
code on the back of it.

Microsoft Office 2003 Pro does not show in Windows Installer Clean up
Utility BECAUSE I have already removed it through this utility. I have also
tried just about everything that I know of to get this solved. I have even
used the utility 904.exe to delete all Office registry keys. I have removed
all Office Folders also.

Any other suggestions that might help.

Mary, thought I would mention this. I don't know if it will help you or not.

When I ran Norton Win Doctor it tells me I have missing or invalid File
extension (".wll".) The file extensions, ".wll", refers to an invalid
identifier "word.addin.8" which it says is invalid.

Does this shed any light?

.wll is a Word add-in. Have you looked at the add-in's? Disable/able them if
you can. Tools, Templates and Add-ins. Also look at help, about Microsoft
Office Word, Disabled items. I am way over my head here.

add in's? If not is it in tools on IE or where?

Default Office 2003 Set Up Error 1402......

What you need to do is go to the start menu and click on run. Then in
the text box type "regedit" and press enter. Find the registry key that
read .wll. or Unkown and right click and go to permissions. Set the
SYSTEM permissions to full access by checking the box next to it. Thats
what I did then another error pulled up and I just kept regedit open and
did it to every key it had an error with. This will definitely work if
you know what I am talking about. I'm not very good at writing tutorials
but I guarantee this to work if you can understand me.
