"All comments and tracked changes are currently hidden."

I get this message whenever I open a Word 2007 document with tracked changes
by double clicking on the attachment in Outlook 2007 and choosing "Open".
The message occurs when I try to accept an edit that was made. Also, when
viewing the document, all text, including the original text and any edits,
are completely visible, but it all appears as normal text. No bubbles or
alternate colors are shown. If I save the document to the desktop, and then
open it, all the tracked changes show up as normal, but this is not ideal as
I deal with multiple documents at the same time and need to be able to reply
quickly. Any help would be appreciated.
