Visio 2003 - Connector endpoints will not turn red
Normally when I use the connector tool to connect shapes, I drag from one
connection point to another and the connector endpoints turn red and the shapes stay connected. Suddenly today, I can no longer connect shapes this way. When I drag from one connection point to another, the endpoints stay green. How do I get them to turn red again so the shapes stay connected? I figured out I can highlight a shape, then click the connector tool, and drag a new shape onto my page and these will be connected, but I am unable to connect existing shapes! Thanks, Mark |

Visio 2003 - Connector endpoints will not turn red
Visio 2003
I cannot reproduce it. Except for the background pages which have no headers nor footers. I just discovered that it is possible and easier to add headers and footers in the Print Preview. If your problem does persist, publish the drawing to visguy.com. The previous text landed in the wrong topic.

Visio 2003 - Connector endpoints will not turn red
Thanks - the Snap & Glue solved my problem. There must be some super secret
hotkey for turning that on & off, as I did not use the 'Tools : Snap and Glue' screen to turn it off at any point. It was working one second, and not working the next. Oh well, now I know. Thanks again! F9, is the culprit. I could not find the keyboard shortcuts in the regular Visio help, so http://www.visiocafe.com/downloads/M...-Visio2002.vsd "Mark" wrote: Thanks - the Snap & Glue solved my problem.
