Default year to year comparison

i need to create a report that shows orders received, YTD, for current year
and last year, same time, and show percenage incr or decr. How do i isolate
last years data? (ie 01/01/04 - 03/11/04)? i have a report set up to handle
this year based on a dialog box " enter weekending date?". it is the rest of
the query i am having trouble with.

steverizzo,

Just use those same dates above instead of this year's dates.

Change to " enter last year's weekending date?".
