Default Edit Dialing Rules or Phone Format

How do I get rid of the +1 in front of my phone #'s? It never added this
prefix until a few months ago. I use Windows XP 2002 and Office XP 2002. I
have checked my settings under Fax and Modems and it is not there.

Any help would be appreciated.

I too encountered the same issue yesterday. I found that
the first few newly added contacts had the 1+ in front of
the area code/phone# I would just go to that field and
manually delete the 1+. Outlook seems to "remember" and
has stopped adding the 1+ when adding contacts. Hope that
helps. Nadine Maughan, http://trymybiz.info/
