How do i get Word 2003 to stop making half page white spaces when.
Specs: WinXP, Office Word 2003, Document from user created template, template
paragraph line settings are single spaced, 1.0. Context: Within a document, im writing and when i get to page 3+ from a previously saved template i created for a page, the white spacing between two sentences increases dramatically. Like this! And when i highlight the white space in between, it is not highlightable. The spacing is set to 1.0 single line spacing, yet this huge gap exists when i hit the return key! What am i doing wrong? Why is Word 2003 freaking out like this? Do i have an option set that Word 2003 creates this great white space division? Please be concise. |

If you select and right click on that text, and select Paragraph... what
does it say under Spacing? Are both before and after set to 0? If not, set to 0, or whatever amount you want. From you've said, the Line Spacing setting on this same page is also on Single? - Colin "ctrarchie" wrote in message ... I've been having similar problems with some documents that were created in
Word 2000. I installed Word 2003 on my computer a few weeks ago and started noticing this problem with spacing on some documents. For instance, I created a style with 6 pt. before and after, and the spacing in some documents look more than other files even though they all have the same paragraph spacing. Is this a Word 2003 problem? |
