Default How can I put my copy of office on a different computer?

I am gettin a laptop and want to put my copy of office on it but still leave
the copy on my desktop? Can I do this?

Totally depends on which type and version of Office you have.

If Office is labeled for use with a New computer or labeled OEM it can only
be used on the original computer it was installed on.

If it is an upgrade or retail version it depends on the version. Read the
EULA to determine how many computers you can install the program on. For
example Office 2003 Student and Teachers version allowed 3 installations but
Office Pro only allowed two computers with different restrictions. Office
XP Student and Teacher only allowed one computer IIRC.
