Default Losing toolbar settings in Word editor

Hello, All!

When I start OL2k3 after a reboot and proceed to send a message (Word is my
editor) the Standard toolbar is not active. I have to reselect it to get it
to show. This did not use to be a problem but in last week or so it has been
a regular occurance. Any ideas what might be wrong?

Thanks,
Colonel Blip.

Try opening Outlook with the /cleanviews switch:

http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/c...neswitches.htm

I just used this last week for a user who lost all his views, including
toolbars.

Restarting Outlook didn't work so I tried this switch which worked fine.
Note that any custom views will be removed and Outlook views will return to
default.

Ouch. Do you know where these are stored? I would like to backup before I
try this.

Thanks,

Colonel Blip.
