Show complete record in continuous forms
I have had the same issue for a while but don't know if there can be anything
done about it. Continous forms have a sloppy look when when you have too many records to show on one page. Is there any kind of coding that can be done to give functionality like a report has where records stay together. I know reports and forms are apples and oranges but just wondering if there is a way to give a form a better look and not show half of a record at the bottom when it is opened up. I'm guessing not but if there are any ideas... Thanks. -- Message posted via http://www.accessmonster.com |

If your form has a fixed size you could use the pagebreak control on your
form. This will break the form into two pieces and gives the idea of a report. But as you stated it's apples and oranges. Together you get something 'fruity' and it's up to you to make something tasty out of it ;-) -- Maurice Ausum "szag via AccessMonster.com" wrote: I have had the same issue for a while but don't know if there can be anything done about it. Pagebreaks will break up a record into parts, but I don't think it'll make
half a record from showing. Each record is the same physical size, so I suspect the best you can do is to size your form so that it displays X number of whole records and no part of a record. -- There's ALWAYS more than one way to skin a cat! Thanks - didnt there was a good way - but I will try to size it right based
on your suggestion. Linq Adams wrote: Pagebreaks will break up a record into parts, but I don't think it'll make half a record from showing. I think that's really your only option. Sorry!
