Default Antivirus and Office 2007

Several months ago I installed Office 2007 on my computer and had many
problems caused by a conflict with McAfee. I spent several hours on the
phone with Microsoft tech support to get rid of the problems part of the
time. I recently re-imaged my computer and would like to use an antivirus
program that does not have any conflicts with Office 2007. It appears from
my reading that Norton has conflicts and that if you use their fixes to avoid
the conflict, you no longer have the protection. Can anyone recommend an
antivirus that does not conflict with Office 2007?
Thank you!
Erin

AVG Free if you don't install the e-mail scanner.

Default Antivirus and Office 2007

I have used Norton NIS 2008 and currently using Norton NIS 2009 and zero
problems with 2007 Office.
In Word, be sure to turn off the option to scan Word documents.
I see in NIS 2009, this has be turned off automatically.
Just check to make sure.
I have a very large spreadsheet in Excel that I use weekly and zero
problems.
It seems to me that NIS 2009 and Office work fine together.
Just a thought!!!!!
