Mini Laptop without CD drive

I just purchase Microsoft Office 2007 on CD and after I got it I realized
that I do not have a CD/DVD drive in my mini, Dah! Can I copy the Office
original CD onto a portal Maxtor external drive and then via USB tranfer it
to my mini? Or will I run into problems with the activation of the license
onto the Maxtor instead of the Mini drive?

Create a folder on the Maxtor, and copy the CD to it. You should strongly
consider using the Maxtor utilities to copy the CD. Then you can install the
application directly from the Maxtor to the netbook.

You can also create a shared network drive, copy the Office CD to it, then
install the CD over your network.

Of couorse, you can also buy a USB CD/DVD, and install directly to the
netbook, and have a device that you can use to install other apps.
