not the issue
thanks, but that is not the issue......no email addresses are
initially entered, just a formula, say "+r5*.05".....it places the value in the dcell, but it makes it a hyprtlink to an email...its driving me crazy |

OK another possibility would be: - a Worksheet_Change or Workbook_SheetChange event procedure is creating the hyperlink after you enter the data.
