Can attachments with .LNK extension be unsafe?
I am in a corporate environment, with an Exchange server. When one user
emails a colleague a link to a file that's on a network server, and the recipient double-clicks it, Outlook issues a Warning!, and requires that the link be saved to disk. This is very annoying. If .lnk attachments are removed from the level 2 list, what's the worst that could happen? |
