I am writing a quotation, say
15pcs Pencils @ 1.50 22.50 The 22.50 should be left bound and the "Enter" should me bring to the start of the next line. I do not want to create a table for such a simple task. Thank you. |

Set a right- or decimal-aligned tab where you want the totals to be. See

Not sure what you mean by "left bound", but you probably want a decimal tab.
Anyhow, tabs often serve the same purposes as tables, so this article should give you info you need. http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/SettingTabs.htm On 9/25/04 8:42 AM, "Gilbert Aue" wrote: I am writing a quotation, say 15pcs Pencils @ 1.50 22.50 The 22.50 should be left bound and the "Enter" should me bring to the start of the next line. -----Original Message----- I am writing a quotation, say 15pcs Pencils @ 1.50 22.50 The 22.50 should be left bound and the "Enter" should me bring to the start of the next line. I do not want to create a table for such a simple task. Thank you. . You can simply type in 15pcs Pencils @ 1.50 then set a "right tab" and type in your 22.50 and hit Enter and it should bring you to the start of the next line. After that you should be able to allign your amount to the right by just hitting your tab key after you have typed your text. I hope this helps. |
