Default Macros in XP vs 2000

Having created a macro in a spreadsheet using Windows
Office Excel XP, I send it via email to my office, to
continue working on it, & macro will not run (at office
we use Windows 20000).

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to
make it work (other than redoing macro each time it moves
between platforms). I have tried saving it down as
earlier version (MS 97-2002) before sending but this does
not work either. I keep getting run time error & debug
message??? Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Peter

Hi Peter

All Excel 2000 macros will run on Excel XP. But a few XP spesific things
will not run on 2000. This is a question of Excel version, not Windows
version.

So choose Debug and see where it brings you. Then either correct or post the
troublesome code snippet (with explanation) here.
