Default How do i remove hard returns in cut and pasted text?

After copying text from a pdf file and pasting it into a Word document, the
lines of text in the new Word document act as if I pressed "return" after
each line of text. As a result lines of text are short. Is there an easier
way to remove all the hard returns other than putting the cursor at the end
of each line and pressing delete to get rid of the hard return. Otherwise
the normal text wrapping to the next line doesn't work. Every line is a
separate line of text.

You can do a Find and Replace of ^p into spaces.
