Default Word 2007+

I had to reinstall Word yesterday, and since that time the program is acting
funky, e.g: I'm trying to create a flyer with images. When I highlight a
line to make changes, am unable to do so. Also, I can no longer manipulate
graphics. It's been a very frustrating and non-productive day. Is there a
solution? Could this be related to the error messages I keep getting when
typing my product key? I own my copy of Office Pro 2007 and should not be
having this issue, as well. I am not willing to pay Microsoft Support for a
product that I own that was operating perfectly two days ago.

Someone please help!

Thanks,

Barbara
