Default Form updating nText field through query

Hello! WE are using SQL Server 2000 and Access 2003. when we append
from an unbound field to a field in an SQL Server linked table, not
all the data comes across. It looks like this on the end:

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quī̌դᴐ*ໟĀƒĬ̈໹

The field in Access is a memo field. In SQL Server, it is an nText
field. Is it a matter of the linkages, or a function of the query?

Thanks,

David
