Here we go: "The product activation system is temporarily offline for
maintenance. Please try to reconnect in a few minutes."

Default Activation Problems

When I try to activate office 2007 through any of the individual programs I
get some error claiming my internet connection can not be found or the other
one claiming the activation servers are down for maintenance.

I have nortons systemworks 2006, cisco vpn, ie 7 beta, and I am also using a
proxy. There are so many different issues that be causing problems, but i
expect the simplest is that microsoft is either not ready for activation or
the betas do not require it...

Some body at microsoft want to let us know.

Thanks

I forgot to mention, that it is quite ironic that i could not activate
because it claimed i had no internet connection yet strange enough I was
directed to a website at www.microsoft.com...... Sort of like "You do not
have a keyboard connected to you compter, press any key to continue".

We just need to wait. Too much action on MS servers.
Seems like we might have burnt'em down!
