Default MS Office 2003 installation error -- space unavailable on Drive D

Hello,
I previously used the MS uninstaller msicuu2.exe on my Vista machine. It
ruined my entire Office setup, in addition to a whole bunch of other
applications. Thanks for the warning, Microsoft.

Now I'm trying to reinstall Office. Why do I keep getting an error message
saying there isn't enough space on the CD drive (D, when the destination
drive is C? It stops me there and I can go no further.
