Default Underlining in forms

Is there any way to allow underlining in form fields? I
designed a document with forms and one of my coworkers
would like to underline just two words in a long form
field entry.

Thanks,

Leslie

Sorry, no there is not.

What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." Check this
in help. For more about online forms, follow the links at
http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles.

Hope this helps,

Hi Les,

It's not possible using Word's built-in functionality, but
it can be done using a fairly simple macro... as long as
the form field is NOT in a table cell?

I agree, not possible to underline select words in a form
field unless you design a macro to select and underline
certain words after the form is completed.- but this will
only work if the words you want to underline are going to
be the same words all the time You can actually make the
macro run after tabbing out of the last form field.
