If only it were that easy!
Using office 2003, I find that cells are truncated at 10chars. Back in excel 5 I get a max of 40. Very odd! Thanks Paul. -----Original Message----- Hi Paul are the contents truncated after 255 characters? -- Regards Frank Kabel Frankfurt, Germany Paul Masters wrote: I am trying to save a spreadsheet into dbase (dbf) format but find that cell contents and headers are truncated in the created file. any ideas would be gratfully received! Try widening the columns.
I changed the font to Courier New so that I could just autofit the columns. Paul Masters wrote: I am trying to save a spreadsheet into dbase (dbf) format but find that cell contents and headers are truncated in the created file. any ideas would be gratfully received! Paul -- Dave Peterson |
