Add-in for SQL Server Analysis
I am running XP with Service pack 3 with MS Excel 7.
I use the MS Office Excel Add-In for SQL Server Analysis (v 1.5.0166.0) to analyse data from a cube. All was OK as of 5 days ago and at the time I was running Service pack 2. Since then I have installed service pack 3 and several security updates. Now I am not able to build reports using the cube...but I can connect. I do not want to roll back the changes unless forced to do so. I have searched the forums for a solution with no success. Would welcome any advice on how to proceed. |

Hello, you should try uninstalling KB 973525: I had the same issue with XP SP3 + MS Excel 2003 and, in my case, this patch caused the Excel Add- in for SQL Server Analysis to stop working correctly (even though I was still able to connect). |
