Default Calculating Duration

Hi, I am trying to set up a spreadsheet calculation where
I determine the duration in days between a date entered in
Column A and a date entered in Column B. What formula
would I need to enter into Column C to give me the number
of days duration? Thanks for any help you can provide!

"=B1-A1" (then format C1 as a number instead of a date.
