Goto Tools - Startup - Display Form/Page and use the dropdown to select the
Switchboard form.

Forgot to add, if you later need to bypass this, in order to work on the app,
press down the Shift key, and holding it down, open the database. Keep it
depressed until the database window (where you see forms, tables, queries,
etc) comes up.

You mean Database Tools? I cannot find this menu (Startup). What am I doing
wrong?

With your database open, select Tools from the menu

File Edit View Insert Tools Windows Help

then click on "Startup"

Just had a thought; what version of Access are you running? It'll be slightly
different in 2007.

For Access 2007 it would be:

1. Click the Microsoft Office Button Button image, and then click Access
Options.
2. Click Current Database, and then in the Display Form list, select the form
that you want to display when the database starts.
3. Click OK, and then close and reopen the database to display the startup
form.
