{spam?} is inserted in the subject line
I have Norton Antispam running which inserts [Norton
Antispam] in the subject line, but on several which have been marked by Norton as spam, I also get {spam?} inserted after Norton's message. Can anyone tell me where this is coming from as I'm not running any other anti-spam program. Could it be my ISP's spam filter inserting this before I receive the e-mails? I understand that they use Spam-Assassin gro looking at the Headers. |

Why ask us? Ask Norton?

Thank you Jeff, I also use TCP as my ISP and you have confirmed what I suspected. I have only noticed this over the last week so I presume they've got Spam-Assassin properly set up now. David,
TCP have been running Spam Assassin for many months. I've had mail marked {Spam?} since at least the beginning of the year; I don't understand why you haven't seen it (try TCP Support). I haven't had a false positive yet - all {Spam?} mail goes straight into a "spam" folder. I'll continue to check it for a month or two to ensure it really is junk. If it's ok, I'll set OE up to just delete it. Regards, -- Jeff (Remove xxx from email address to reply) wrote in message ...
