Office Home and Student 2007
Each time I open Office Home and Student 2007 under Vista I get this window that opens first. When I cancel this window, I can continue. I can not find what is causing it, or how to correct it. Any help??? Thank you.

You say "each time I open Office...". Office consists of number of programs.
From the dialog you're getting, I'd guess that you're opening Word, and that the shortcut you're using is damaged--it's telling Word to open word.pip, rather than simply to open. I would suggest that you run a Repair and see if that fixes it. If not, you can manually create a new shortcut that should work fine. To repair, start Word... and get past the dialog. Then click Office button (upper left corner), Word Options (next bottom), Resources tab, Diagnose. To create a new shortcut for starting Word, use Windows Explorer to navigate to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12, find WINWORD.EXE, and use the right mouse button to drag to the Desktop or to the Quick Launch bar, and choose Create Shortcut Here. -- Herb Tyson MS MVP Author of the Word 2007 Bible Blog: http://word2007bible.herbtyson.com Web: http://www.herbtyson.com "Fishermun" wrote in message ...
