Unable to logon to the incoming mail server POP3
I'm having the exact same problem except that Outlook Express works ok. I'll
be glad when somebody figures this out. "JohnM" wrote: JimUKDellBTYahoo No, but the workaround I have was to install Incredimail (Search for Incredimail on Google), which worked first time right out of the box. Have since retested both Outlook and Outlook Express and the problem still persists with those programs. I don't understand why one of the MVP's hasn't picked up this thread, because the problem is obviously quite widespread -- Regards JohnM "JimUKDellBTYahoo" wrote: I would be really appreciative to kno wif you managed to solve this as I am having exactly the same problem and its driving me mad. I set up my email account information Using E-mail account feature in Outlook but when I click on "Test Account Settings" I get an error message, "Unable to Log on to the incoming mail server POP3" Besides that, my internet Sign-in box with User name and Password sign in box keeps popping up every five minutes and nothing happens when I click to log on. I can't figure out why my incoming messages are not being delivered to my inbox in Outlook. Thanks |
