Page Numbering
I have a 52 page document. However, when I go to page numbering and tell it to start on page 3 it does, but once it reaches page 15, instead of putting the next number 16, it puts in 17 and it does this in a couple of different sections.
I have deleted all headers, footers and now when I call up my document, page 1 & 2 are not 41 & 42 but page 3 through 15 are fine but once it gets to page 16, it puts in page 17. What is wrong here, can anyone help, I really need this to teach my Sunday School Class and I need to print 15 copies of this. Thank you most kindly; |

I suspect continuous section breaks.

When troubleshooting, click your Show/Hide button and
change to View/Normal. This will allow you to see things, such as continuous section breaks, that may be causing problems in your document. Once you can see them, you can delete them. -----Original Message----- I have a 52 page document. Page Numbering
You probably have an extra section break that you
can't "see". Try putting the doc into normal view (View menu) and look for a section break (probably continuous) just after the page marked page 15. Make sure you can see the footers so you can tell what's happening (View menu). -----Original Message----- I have a 52 page document.
