Default Easy Search method for records in 97

I am trying to find a way to be able to search for records in Access 97. I am trying to help my boss with a client list and as of right now we are literally paging through the form to find our records. Is there a relatively simple way to do this? We would want to search from our Customer Name Field. If we could pick the name out of a list and Presto! there's the record, that would be great. (FYI: I am rather new to Access.) I would love to use a list box to do this if possible...

TIA,
Lauren

Here's something you could try:
Add a combobox to your form.
When the wizard asks what you want it to do, choose the 3rd option -
something like "go to a record based on this value".
The wizard should walk you through the rest of it.

Remember to use this combobox as a navigation tool.
If you want to make changes (e.g. correct the spelling of a customer name),
do that in the existing textbox on your form.
