I have installed the add-in but the formula is bringing
back the error message. As for more info...I am wondering
if there is some way to determine if the issue is related
to the add-in retrieving the info from the internet or if
this is related to my setup of the add-in. Also I am
working through a firewall, would that create an issue?

If there is any other info that might help please let me
know.

Thanks.

I hate the web interface. When you post using it for some reason it does not
keep your messages together in the same thread. I don't use it so I don't know
how to change that. It was only be chance that I saw this response.

In any event, post a formula that you are using (or that appears in the cell
after you run the wizard, and let's have a go.

For example, if I enter something simple like

=MSNStockQuote("msft")

I will get 27.81 in the cell.

If I use the wizard, it generates a formula of the type:

It puts

B2: Last Price
A3: MSFT
B3: =MSNStockQuote($A3,"Last Price","US") -- 27.81

But since the error message you are getting refers to an interaction with the
Internet, it seems more likely that that's where the problem is, rather than in
Excel. But post back with the above information, anyway.
