Default Print Layout View Changed?!

I've been using Word since version 2, and currently have
XP. For normal documents, I use the Print Layout View
with it's nice resemblance to an actual piece of paper
(margins all around.) Now, it has decided to show no
margins on the top or bottom of the page. How do I set
it back to the old way?

I don't know if this is connected, but two things
happened at the same time: the Print Layout View problem,
and in my original Start menu (the one you get when you
click "Start" at the left side of the bottom of the
desktop) has also decided to restart the recent document
part for no apparent reason.

Ah, thanks! And I even went into that menu, but missed
that option! Life is back to normal! Thanks again!

Until you've seen what it does, you wouldn't have any idea what that option
was for, I think. Even I was surprised to find that it suppresses the entire
header, even the parts that appear below the top margin.

Even more intriguing, it seems to suppress display of anything that is
inline in the header or footer, but it does not suppress floating
objects that are anchored in the header or footer.

In my case it did suppress a text box anchored to the header that runs down
the left margin; that's what was so unnerving.
