This may sound stupid. I want to put a check box in a form (I can do that)
but how do I make the X in the box a tick??

Cheers

If you must use an actual checkbox form field, you can't get anything except
the X. If you can include macros in your form, see
http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Add_Toggle_Objects.htm for a version that uses
ordinary characters, including one that looks like a box with a checkmark.
